Welcome! I’m Cherie, a ceramic artist working from my home studio in western Maine. Originally from Delaware, I first learned to center clay at my local art league in 1994.

I am inspired by what is familiar to me. Since moving to Maine in 2012, my organic style has evolved to reflect the natural hues and patterns I observe when exploring the trails around my home. Walking in nearby Flint Woods or along the Sandy River, immersed in nature, I return to my studio to express that inspiration through clay. Designed with comfort in mind, my functional and decorative ceramics encourage connection and an appreciation of life’s simple joys.
